Sep. 1st, 2005 10:11 pmWell, the rent on my temporary casa is paid up through the next three months, and I'm done unpacking. Time to kick back!
Rome is such a great city. Teresa (local Slayer -- she's finished with her early training and decided to take up the stake in her hometown) is being my native guide, and helping out a lot with my Italian lessons. I had to explain why I wanted to see the old Opera House, and she says if I ever manage to bring Meg here she wants to meet her.
If -- aye there's the rub. I think I've got it figured out, but it's all at a not-quite-conscious level. Like I've got to use the same mental muscles I would during a Summoning, only for something else. Like the difference between fencing and dancing.
Not a lot of time left before I'm supposed to send Buffy there. And nothing left to do but try it out.
Note to self: ask Teresa how to say "here goes nothing" in Italian.
