"I'm not asking you to compromise your neutrality," Andrew says. "We're just looking for information. In the abstract. How does this kind of spell work? Like ... what would you tell me if I wanted to do the same thing myself?"
That gets a short laugh. "I'd tell you don't, Wells. You haven't got anything like enough power, and trying it would kill you."
"So it's not a safe procedure." He leans a little forward, intent.
"Definitely not." Alcina pauses, then looks away and gives a sigh. "I'll give you the general idea, okay?"
